We’ve just launched a new feature for our users that manage their invoicing outside of Paydirt.
Paydirt now allows you to mark work as billed manually. This helps you to keep track of what work you’ve invoiced for, and where you invoiced for it.
If you create online invoices through Paydirt, you don’t need this new feature. Paydirt takes the hassle out of freelance invoicing by automatically marking work as billed when you create an invoice through Paydirt.
Marking work that you’ve already billed outside of Paydirt is simple:
Go to a client’s page and click the link to show the unbilled time you’ve logged.
Alternatively, you can go to the Time page, and browse for unbilled work that you’ve already invoiced for.
At the bottom of the list of work is a button to ‘Mark list as billed’. Click it.
In the window that appears, enter a billing reference. This can be anything you like, but the number of the invoice you created outside of Paydirt is a sensible choice.
You’re done! The work has been marked as billed, and this will be reflected throughout Paydirt.
